a) .- To encourage the
unification of all tropical crop producers
Quevedo Canton and its areas of influence,
to defend their interests and to serve as
a link in the relations of partners as well
as public sector entities as the private
sector.
b) .- Designing, organizing
and managing of public utility works as
experimental fields and schools, laboratories
and research centers, roads, irrigation
and drainage infrastructure, etc..
c) .- Design and implement
training programs and transfer of technology
through field days courses, publications,
etc.. using systems to disseminate and improve
agricultural knowledge.
d) .- To provide advice,
technical and legal assistance in seeking
solutions to problems take the producers
of tropical crops in relation to credit,
culture techniques, use of their products,
etc..
e) .- To acquire in the
country or imported machinery, equipment
and agricultural implements, vehicles, seeds,
fertilizers, pesticides and so on. in general,
inputs that are indispensable for the establishment,
development, production and marketing of
tropical crops.
f) .- Create mechanisms
for adaptation of economics courses, from
national and international sources, public
and private, that serve to establish projects;
g) .- To obtain credit,
both domestic and international sources,
to the storage facility of inputs, agro-industrial
plants, storage facilities and processing
of tropical products and so on.
h) .- Identify foreign
markets or directly or indirectly involved
in the export of agricultural products;
i) .- promote or intervene
in the creation of organizations that benefit
from them are participating producers, such
as marketing firms, grocers, Credit, Banking
& Finance, seed processing companies
and so on.
j) .- Actively participate
in state agencies for study and analysis
of the factors listed in the development
of production and find solutions to credit
problems, interests, pricing, marketing,
etc..
k) .- Maintain statistical
records of cultivated area, production costs,
yields per unit area and any data that is
relevant to farming.
